The Breathe to Rise™ Method blends strength training, corrective exercise, breathwork and simple lifestyle practices, to ensure that you build from a foundation of strength, recover as intentionally as you train, giving your body the optimal environment and tools it needs to heal, rebuild, and thrive, without overwhelm.

 

 At the heart of the method is the belief that we feel and perform our best when we are in balance, particularly when we find that our energy levels are depleted by the demands of motherhood. Strength training and other forms of exercise are powerful tools, but they are actually stressors - positive stressors - but nonetheless they impact your energy levels. And they don’t exist in isolation. Your body also carries the invisible load of everyday life:

 • Caring for babies, raising children, or supporting teens

 • Balancing the demands of home and/or work life

 • Keeping a household running while juggling deadlines

 • Living with time pressures that leave little space for yourself

When these demands stack up, your body’s stress “budget” fills quickly.

During life as a mum, your bandwidth is at full capacity, sleep is disrupted, recovery can feel slower, and energy can swing from high to non-existent. The workouts that once felt energising can tip into exhaustion if your recovery isn’t matched to your output.
